Joan Honeyman, ASLA


Joan Honeyman, ASLA, has spent twenty eight years as a landscape architect, designing and implementing a wide range of residential, commercial, and public projects throughout the East Coast.?She also teaches in the Sustainable Landscape Graduate Program at George Washington University.?She has served on several national American?Society of?Landscape Architects?(ASLA)?committees and judged the ASLA student awards competition. Venues for her landscape lectures and workshops include the U.S. Botanic Garden and National Building Museum and she was a featured speaker at the ASLA national conference.?

Her work has been highlighted in publications and productions including CNN, Fox 5 News, Architectural Digest, Washington Spaces, LA Magazine, ArchitectureDC, Sports Illustrated, and Julie Moir Messervy?s Home Outside.?Joan?s ongoing professional goal is to process and implement ?green thinking? as a baseline for design and planning in the effort to ensure our sustainable future.
